Default Drew Bledsoe offered assistant position with Louisville?

That's a rumor this guy posted over on ITV, but I gotta say that's pretty damn intriguing. Doesn't seem that far-fetched, honestly.

And I think he'd be a good QB coach. See every backup who was ever under him that took his place when he was injured or, most recently, leaving his prime. Tom Brady in NE and Romo in Dallas.. he was instrumental in mentoring both of them.

I guess it would at least give the ESPN folks something to talk about with our program. Maybe we can bring Phil Simms on as another co-head assistant coach of the passing game planning duties of the football operations program. Or something.

Before coming to Tulsa, Kragthorpe spent the previous two seasons (2001-02) as quarterback coach with the NFL's Buffalo Bills. In 2001, he tutored Rob Johnson and in the 2002 season he coached All-Pro Drew Bledsoe. Kragthorpe also coached Alex Van Pelt in his two years with the Bills.
It's possible.

Totally unrelated but I thought I read somewhere, maybe on this board that The Big Tuna was buying a house in Prospect, KY.

What's Bill Parcell's connection to Kentucky?

That was me, it was just a joke, seems like everytime there is a rumor about a new hire at UK the report is that "so-and-so" had bought a house there. Parcells was one of the big rumors prior to Brooks hiring.
