I agree.

I thought our defensive backs covered poorly, I thought our LB's were undersized and didnt attack the line of scrimmage and played the run poorly, I thought our d-line didnt put any pressure on the QB or keep the blockers off our LB's to make plays on run plays.

For the games LB Willie Williams did play in I cant remember any big plays he made. This was a guy who was recruited by everyone in the country.

The FB/LB transfer from Miami, James Bryant, 6-foot-3 250 is what we need hammering the opponents runners backwards.

Since he has to sit out a year we need to recruit size & speed on defense like that.
No more 6 foot, 215 pound LB's. Some d-line with a motor.

Maybe some of our NFL players can come back and workout over the off-season with our guys like they do at the U.

Light a fire under them for next year.

Who else hopes Vic Anderson gets a lot of play time next season. I'm sorry but a lot of the problems with our running game is that we don't have a single great running back. Bolen is good for goal-line situations and that's about it, Anthony Allen had one good game against MTSU and why shouldn't he have.... it's MTSU. And Bilal Powell? Where the hell did that come from? I say let Vic try and carry the load next year. He's got explosive speed and great movement. I really think he can be as good as Noel Devine is for WVU if we can get the system right around him.
