With the Kensucky injury report that came out listing the loss of one DT and one listed as doubtful to uncertain,should help our offense.Not that we need it but that would be 2 starters out for Kensucky.Our defense has some serious issues,but then I wonder how much,if any,experimenting was done by our defensive coaches in the first 2 games.I think this game is going to come down to who has the ball at the end.Neither team has shown much in the way of defense.Close game until mid 4th quarter but the cards will win no doubt.The over will be covered with no problem.

And I agree on your comments. Being without two D-linemen is going to add to UK's difficulties stopping us. You can't beat a team if you never stop them from the end zone.

Well, here's how I see it.

I went to the UK-KentSt. game on Saturday (for those of you who don't know I go to UK, but am the biggest UofL fan within 60 miles of Lexington). UK seems to be hitting hard like they did at the end of last year. Their defense reminds me of the exact same defense that played Clemson in the bowl game. They can hit, but the blow a lot of coverages too, and have a lot of trouble stopping the run. The speed of the Kent QB was killing UK in the first half, until they figured out how to contain.

With that being said, i can see Stripling, Spencer, and even Guy and Douglas get a couple of BIG gains on some tosses and reverses. Their secondary is nothing special, but their linebackers seem quicker across the middle than their DBs on the outside. Their O-line is tough but it bends a lot. Too many assignments can really get them confused easily.

To be honest, Woodson did not look that great at the game either. He hit his open receivers, but whenever he was in trouble he either threw into the ground or held onto the ball until he hit the ground.

I a not too worried about our defense matching up except for UK's ability to hit the deep receiver. I know that won't happen every play, but it will be there often. Our offense should be as effective as ever, as long as Brohm doesn't lead anyone across the middle to be hung out dry.

My predictions: Another W for the Cards, but i can't give a score. I'll just say, whoever can force the turnovers is going to take this one. I'm looking at a double digit victory, but that's as far as I go.

Our defense sits the tone of the win. We play Pop Warner defense we win by 7. We play up to our talent level we win by 28. Depends on what kind of adjustments have been made defensively. I'm confident that there isn't a team on our schedule that can consistently stop our offense, UK is no exception. You can't beat a team that you can't stop from scoring.
