Default UK must be licking their chops

This defense blows. Mtsu should not be in this game. Florida Antlantic held this team to 14 points last week. Last time I checked they werent even in the top 25.

Agreed. But, I would be more scared had we won like...17-0.

I agree but for me it wasnt our defense that had me worried.

I just didnt think they would be that bad.

Now I was worried about our defensive backfield with Coach Whitt gone but I thought our LB's had some experience and our d-line had some size and players that would emerge as solid ballplayers.

We louisville fans dont like to admit it but UK has stepped it up.
I see that.
They dont look at themselves as bottom feeder/doormats like we still do.
They have to prove it on the field also.

but hey even Prarie View A & M wins some games now.

Brooks changed the attitude over there and they have confidence now they never had before. Maybe we will get lucky in Commonwealth stadium and UK will believe too much of their own hype.

Problem is UK is hungry, like Middle Tennessee was to play a top 10 team on national TV.

All the talk about the U of L program, all the hype, how great a hire Kragthorpe was and Jurich was a genius. We annoited Krag without him ever roaming the sidelines made me uneasy.

UK has ALWAYS been this confident at the start of the season. The thing that is different this year is they are beating up on a pair of patsies and going 2-0 instead of their usual beatdown and 0-1 start to the season.

Bigger, Faster Stronger... ring a bell? It's been the same off-season champions for the past decade plus. We just can't knock them back to reality in the opener like we have done 7 of the past 8 seasons. THAT is why you are hearing such a roar of positive attitude. It's going into September because Eastern Kentucky was on the Labor Day schedule, not the Cards.

That's not to say they can't win the game this year. Our defense is bad enough to turn this game into a Madden '08 matchup on the rookie level. But don't think this "newfound confidence" is in any way, shape, or form really new for the Cats. Woodson was calling for a win two seasons ago and some Big Blue Idiot player/coach has been predicting SEC titles and big bowl berths for as long as anyone cares to remember.

The Cats will be knocked back to reality this season, whether by our team or their annual beatdowns courtesy of Florida, Tennessee, and LSU.

So you think if we win that its because we got lucky? Or because UK believed too much hype and blew it? It would have nothing to do with having the number 1 offense in the nation? Seriously, bling. Seriously.
