I don't have a TV, so I've been insulated from the hype. But this season has almost soured me to college football. I really don't care. I'll be listening to the Cards Saturday, but I understand now that there is no objective way to tell if a team is better than another if they don't play.
I can't stop thinking about that Miami/FSU game that kicked off the season.
After watching the game, everybody said that they were two obvious top10 teams with probably the two best defenses in the country. Well, it turns out that the people who are in charge of
choosing a national champion don't know shit about college football. As we all suspected.
So, when UofL and WVU play a shootout, it's two mediocre teams, but when Texas and KSU play a shootout, it's tough Big12 football.
Nobody knows anything, yet they sure like to pretend.
