Default Rutgers Game: An Omen for the Future?

I hate to look ahead to next season already, but this has been on my mind since last night:

prior to the Rutgers game, there were rumors circulating that Bush had stopped going to class already, and that Brohm was planning on going pro early...Now here's the big question:

With the loss to Rutgers, and an end to our National Title run, could Brohm and Bush come back to the Ville to complete some unfinished business and make another major run at the National Championship?

Yeah...lets get a credible source on those rumors...cause you know what they say about rumors.

Look at the poll results...one thing constant-everyone thinks brohm will return.

Since Brian's whole family has been feeding us that line his entire life, I'd say Brohm will be back. That last game couldn't have helped his draft stock either.

If Brohm goes I don't think its a good move. If Bush goes, I'd say it would be better off, since RB's have a smaller shelf life and I think Pitt will pick up Bush in the 1st round if no one else does.

If Brohm finishes up strong and he is projected in the top 10 picks, it wouldn't be a bad decision to go. I hope he doesn't, but my hopes don't mean anything. Reality is the issue. Freddy

Sorry, but Mike coming off a torn-up leg is not going to be a Top 5 pick. In case you've missed the season to-date, Pittsburgh sucks this year and will be in the running for the cream of the draft crop. An injured RB, even one as good as Bush, is not going in the first 5 picks.

I'd say both need another year at this point. Brohm isn't anywhere near Heisman like despite a great game versus WV.

And Bush, talent that he is, needs more carries. He had a great half against one of the worst D's in football in UK. Right now he has a big question mark on his injury. Next year could do wonders for him.

There are no question marks about Bush.

He's big, fast and has decent speed. He can block and catch the ball.

He has shown enough to make an NFL roster as is.

I doubt he is worried about draft position as long as he's a 1st rounder.

I don't think any NFL team is taking a chance by drafting Bush.

Well..only that he broke a bone in his leg. He showed that stuff last season yet came back for another year. I'm sure draft position and what another year could do for him played a huge part in it.

Nothing this season changed much for him except he now has an injury to answer for and is one year older.
