I cant see how UK even makes any portion of that list. They havent done squat in a long time other than the "bowl game" they won last season. I think the cats rank right up there with a bug splattered on a windshield. Waste.

Heres some interesting stats on UK's "premier" football program. 7 bowl games in the last 50 years, of which they went 4-3. Last seasons bowl game was the first since 1999 (and you guessed it-it was the music city bowl in 99 as well) THREE winning seasons since 1990, went 0-10 in '82. The only reason I guess they put UK on that list is because they were ruled the 1950 NC in sagarin ratings with a final record of 11-1. Cant see how that amounts to much, just like all the NC the basketball team won 50+ years ago.

Far as us being TBD...I guess we will see. I like doubters-good for motivation of the team.

That's pretty neat. I like where they put Louisville, a lot. I'm enjoying the Cards being this national enigma. The oddball darkhorse that nobody is real sure about. It keeps the name in everybody's household. Nice pic of Brohm, too.

As far as the BigEast, I would have put Pittsburgh in with the Barons, definitely above Syracuse. Has Syracuse even won a title? I know Pitt has a handful, and they went to a BCS bowl just three or four years ago.

He disrespected us and gave us props at the same time. He's just being middle of the road on purpose.

We didnt even make the peasants list, we were an asterik or a footnote.

Basically they act like we just poped on the scene yesterday and are a fluke, holding out judgement on us in case we crash and burn then we make no list at all, or go 12-0 and win a BCS title then were among the Kings and he can say "I told you so"

Make a decision and put us somewhere,
We have been consistantly in the top 25, nationally ranked since the Fiesta Bowl in 1990 that's 17 years.

I really didn't see any disrespect. The disrespect, IMO, falls to teams that he doesn't even have to think twice about. Teams like Baylor, and Vandy, and UK.

I like being an asterisk at this point. There's really no justification for being a King or Baron, yet, but he knows better than to lump us in with the riff-raff Knights and Peasants.

there's no disrespect there. where DO you put a team like louisville which has no football history (unitas' louisville teams weren't even any good) but has done over the past decade what it has done, but really has yet to reach the top of the mountain?

I'd like to get a shirt with Louisville on the front and a big asterisk on the back. When people ask me about the asterisk, I'd tell them "TBD".

Knocking off #4 Florida St on National TV, a top 25 ranking almost every year since the Cooper era.

We are enough of a power right now that were not an enigma, we should have at least had a spot somewhere.

When Schnellenberger was here we played Tennessee, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida St, WVU, we scheduled plenty of top schools.

If anything the national powers have nothing to gain and everything to lose if they schedule us now so maybe our lack of wins against "KNOWN" powers not actually if they are ranked at the time, hurts making this kind of list.
