Never heard so much carping when we were in CUSA (and it always sucked except for an occasional year in basketball). So, what if the Big East sucks, that should not stop you from wanting us to be the best, suck the best, Oh, I mean suck the least, or whichever way that goes !

Come on, I still take us being atop the Big East no matter what. So, it starts with the next game in the BE to see if we can climb up. And, whacking foe Memphis will make me feel good too.

Never seen people so cranky before.

That's because 1) USC never was getting blown out of the water like Georgia was. 2) USC usually has trouble in Oregon, whether in Eugene or Corvallis. 3) They have a solid thrashing of a then-Top 10 team, Georgia doesn't have that.

Does it really tell us that? Or does it say Bama had a letdown game after last week, while Texas Tech's Gun N' Gun offense is firing on all cylinders?

And I'll take your #3 BYU and raise with a #3 Boise State. UCLA is just plain awful this year (as is Tennessee), and it took a garbage penalty for BYU to beat Washington, who got thrashed by a team Boise beat.

I'd guess that Bama definitely had a let down, but even with a letdown a team that good would pound UK by 30 any other year. And Kansas State just sucks. Respectable teams don't give up 58 to anybody.

And you're just mad that Boise beat your Ducks.

Washington just played a brutal first three games. They'd be a decent squad if they had a little confidence, IMO. Locker's fun to watch.

Speaking of sucks, UConn got pasted by UNC. UNC? That's ugly. The BE is the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
But swampdaddy brings up a great point: we weren't crying about how much the CUSA sucked were we? It is a little different now though. Back then we didn't have a national reputation to live up to and neither did our conference. Still though, let's just worry about beating the sucky teams we're playing instead of wishing they weren't so sucky.

Suck.

*L* If I was so mad about Boise beating my Ducks, why would I be holding them in such high esteem that I'd put them at 3? They're just that solid of a team, and I truly think Boise would take BYU.

Washington is really just Locker and a bunch of castoffs, Willingham doesn't seem to have had the recruiting magic he had at Stanford, of course that team has been a wreck since they fired Neuheisel over something absolutely ridiculous (and once again, I'm putting that one on Myles Brand).

And actually, UNC is probably going to be at least the second-best team in a horrible ACC this year, not to mention they actually have tape on Frazer, which means they actually had some idea what to expect, unlike us. Not to mention we aren't on a 4-game BCS losing streak, so technically the ACC are still the suckiest sucks in the BCS.
