he's someones relative
Gasparro keeps his job cause he is probably someone's relaive; and/or, he has more dirt on someone higher than they have on him. I'm no fan of his though at the moment I wont' go into why.

Man aren't we being a little hard on Gasparro?
I mean obviously Louisville has some high profile sports, football, basketball, women's b-ball, baseball, golfers, track and field ect, Gasparro may have made mistakes but he's obviously doing something right. Long ago when I helped the Empire out one season covering football I made the mistake of walking into practice with a pencil and I was going to take notes. Gasparro was all over me, it is against policy to take notes or write anything during practice, or at least it was then and he spotted me before I could even use it.

Wow, this is the most heated thread on CE in a while!
I'm just tired of waiting. I just want to see my Cards play. Pitiful or not, it beats watching baseball.

Ya got that right, I'm ready too. But deep down I have to admit watching baseball beats watching tennis, watching gold and a few other non-sports. LOL.
Nothing beats good football or basketball for me. Swamp Daddy
