Some of you guys know me...and some of you don't

I posted this --and other things from my sources on both football and basketball--on Card Chronicle blog
well before they appeared elsewhere, and actually occurred.

But, believe me when as a Card fan I say I'm really sorry our coach interviewed--but he did.

Now, I don't like it, but TJ is willing to accept the situation, it doesn't matter-- we move forward. But with our eyes wide open, and with Jeff Brohm still here and at the O controls. And with another head coach in waiting at the D throttle.

I'm not down on this season-- I think we have a shot at 7 wins, maybe 8--and I hope it's more, for K's and all our sake's.

Frank

Have you ever heard George Carlin say "why is it every one driving slower than you is a idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac"

This means it's not actually everyone elses driving that is the problem it's you.

ROCCO FREAKING GASPARRO CONFIRMED THIS!!

How is it a rumor when it comes straight from the mouth of the sports information director for football at the University of Louisville? I guess he heard it on one of the message boards and just wanted to be ahead of the story? C'mon.

If you want to claim that was just message board hearsay, let me add this report.

(waits to get the rant about how the news isn't real)

Must.......not.......argue.......with....the...... dipshit! Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Considering you've argued with just about everybody on this board, some multiple times, thats rich. You got some real nerve to say that to me. No, its not nerve, youre just a blathering knucklehead who likes to hear himself talk. Now you can add hypocrite to the list. Dude, you have a real problem.

You see the un-seeable. You presume to know the un-knowable. You see things that all signs point against.

LOL, thats our Bling. Sums him up in three sentences. Perfect

Now that I'm done busting bling in his silly ass, let me just say that some of you need to get off your high horses. I'm getting sick of the condescending tone that you "eternal optimists" have for people who have given practical reasons why this season may be shitty. NOBODY knows how the season is going to go. People claiming this season is going to be succesful are no different than people saying its going to suck.

I have nerve?

" practical reasons why this season may be shitty"

May be?

If they were practical reasons why is it a "may be" in case your wrong?

How about this Red, bet against Louisville every game this year, prove me wrong and make yourself some money

Also "dipshit"? "condescending"? "hypocrite"? .....your doing all the name calling and rather than post an idea or point of view your response is "others" are too stupid to argue with.

I think my posts are very practical and I have very valid points but when I post I have a different point of view than yours so Red has no response so I'm a dipshit and all I want to do is argue.

Take the easy way out, fine with me

When you eventually did post something you have no balls and deleted it.

....but you call me condescending.....sorry your point holds no water when you act like a condescending ass yourself, hypocrite

I'd say it'll be refreshing seeing all of these new players on the field but I'd be lying my ass off. I'm still looking forward to the season. I'm sure we'll take our lumps, but I think we have some winnable games up front and if we pull an upset or two we can celebrate another bowl bid.

It's all fun and games mates!

I've never seen a team with more talent become more of a train wreck in football or basketball in my entire life of being a UofL last year. I blame the coach. He's the man in charge and whether or not Petrino bent rules, turned the cheek (I doubt he did cause that guy was a serious control freak) doesn't matter. When I saw our team making stupid play after stupid play I got SOOOOO sick and tired of the cameraman cutting to Krag and he just had this stone expressionless look on his face as the shit was splattering all over the fan. Not saying he has to yell and scream but he just seemed to be a deer in headlights.

Now after a year of sky high expectations I'll be anxious to see what he can do with ABSOLUTELY NO EXPECTATIONS. Now that the bar has officially been lowered, perhaps things will feel more like Tulsa and he can get things going for us.

This is perhaps the best post in this thread. I agree 100% man.

I agree too, the face of this team has changed drastically.

Maybe Kragthorpe was shell-shocked last year, but that was last year and I'm done dwelling on that.

I'm ready to see some good, competitive Louisville football.

University of Louisville sports information director Rocco Gasparro tells me that there is a fifty-fifty chance that Kragthorpe would leave Louisville for the vacant head-coaching job at Southern Methodist University.

While SMU has not contacted Kragthorpe or Athletic Director Tom Jurich about the open job, Gasparro says that Coach Kragthorpe is concerned at what the scrutiny is doing to his family and players.
Weak rebuttal, Lindy. Don't link me to an article saying the AD said he interviewed with SMU when the article actually says something opposite.

By golly, it does appear Gasparro was lured into message board/media gossip. Not the first time Gasparro has been caught talking out of his ass. How DOES he keep his job?
