Looks like RichRod was the punk after all.
He will settle the WVU lawsuit by paying the full 4 million he owed the school for breaking his contract. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html This is funny... Quote:

They should hcnage the name of contract to W.A.T.O.A.B
Worthless As Tits On A Bull. Player #1: Hey, I just signed my WATOAB the other day. I'm having second thoughts. I think I'm going to renig. Player #2: Go for it dude. I just wiped my ass with mine the other day. |

A 4-year contract is really just one, two or three seasons until I do something great that gives me leverage to renegotiate or until a player with similar numbers gets a bigger contract then I say if player x has 100 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks and 5 INT's and that's close to the numbers I put up but Player-X gets 3-million more than me.....I WANT TO RENEGOTIATE.
I say, Fuck a coach who weasels out of a contract, the buyout clause was there for just such reason, pay the 4-milli and STFU. The NFL rookie contracts are even more rediculous. Why pay a college player 30 million and 20 million signing bonus before they play a single down in the NFL? It's driving the game out of reach of the common fan. Between gas prices and ticket prices I may NEVER see another NFL game live in my lifetime. Next thinig you know NFL games will be pay per view and I'll have to just read about it in the newspaper the next day or watch highlights on ESPN.
