if that one lucky play didnt happen, they would be sitting at 6-6, just like the year before

and they still ended up in the same place

Well, they managed to beat Louisville, and even though we were down last year, it still counts as a victory against your rival. Plus, they beat #1 LSU, were competitive in their losses and won a 2nd consecutive bowl game. For UK, that's about as good as it gets.

No point in trying to put UK down just because Louisville had a down year.

It's kind of funny that they were picked to finish 5th in their division by their conference and actually wound up there even after what appeared to be a successful season by UK standards.

Well, I'm no longer worrying about that embarassing last year; I am wondering how much UK dropped off and how they will fare at Papa Johns this year. I would be embarassed to loose to them again at Papa Johns.
