Surrounding speculation that former Arkansas quarterback Mitch Mustain was Louisville-bound, Kragthorpe released a statement that he would not be pursuing Mustain. On the heels of the announcement, Kragthorpe was able to persuade Simms to re-pledge to Louisville ... with a little help from Florida coach Urban Meyer. Meyer was on the Bosco campus to recruit Simms' teammate Justin Trattou when he told Trattou and Bosco assistants to get word to Simms that Kragthorpe was a coach worthy of playing for.

Having family days at practice on Friday do not make Meyer a nice guy. Even if they did, it doesn't change the fact that he has more than his share of "thugs" to get him a national title. Just check the rap sheet on his team right after they won the title.

Yep, complaining is easier than taking the time to really figure things out. I suspect had Petrino stayed another year he might not have gone 6-6; but, I also doubt he would have been 11-1 or 12-1 with a bowl win (?). He would have taken a lot of heat over the arrests and junk that were hidden too.
