Isnt Penn State also known as "Linebacker U" ?

If we beat out PSU for a Linebacker that is big news, I'd would speculate the addition of Coach Ron English is paying benifits already.

Oops maybe I posted that too soon...... I then read this.

Quote:
"Me and my folks talked to (U of L coach Steve Kragthorpe), and my parents loved him," Privott told Cardinalsports.com. "He said, 'I'm very excited you want to be a Cardinal, and we want to build a great relationship with you and your family.' That made me very confident in my decision when he said that about my family.

"He's a down-to-earth guy and cracks jokes, but when it comes down to business he's ready to go. I'm like that, too."
Score one for coach Krag I guess.

Not to completely dismiss the get, but Penn State never offered the kid according to Rivals. If they are going to list Penn State, they might as well list Tennessee and Boston College, too. Those schools were listed with interest, but none ever offered him.

The article states his choice eliminated several other schools.

Quote:
linebacker Mike Privott picked the Cardinals over Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Penn State and Connecticut.
That still means they didnt offer him any scholly?

He eliminated them for the right reasons then

kind of like you cant fire me, I QUIT !

That's what I was refuting, bling. The article said he picked us over Penn State, but Penn State never offered. Unless the kid is related to Kevin Hart.
