Default Brohm getting a lot talk at GB message board

Mostly good. A few wished they would have picked some one else but will live with it.

Here are some more reactions from Wisconsin...http://blogs.jsonline.com/packers/ar...m-amp-lee.aspx

And somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but has Louisville run a "west-coast" offense anytime lately? I keep reading that Brohm is a West-coast qb, yet I don't recall the last time the Cards ran that offense. Maybe under John L.? Or is that maybe the offense we ran last year, IDK? I never could figure out what kind of offense we ran last year.

I've also heard Brohm get knocked behind Ryan because Brohm was in a "pass-happy" offense accounting for all his stats being better than Ryan. I just read today that Brohm threw 200 less passes than Ryan last year. lol Think about that. With all the comebacks and deficits he faced last year forcing him to throw it so much, he still threw a lot less than Ryan's "pass-happy" BC team.

Yeah, but BC made the postseason... they played an extra game than Louisville.

Facts are, Brohm was hurt by his coming back and playing this year for a very mediocre Cardinal team. The more you play, the more chance you have of being picked apart. Brohm played a lot of football at Louisville and he was as good as gold until he had to start throwing it 50 times a game and trying to force the ball to come from behind. The lack of a consistent running game and the chuck and duck style of offense hurt Brian Brohm.

The ball got to rolling on Ryan being a top 5 pick and Brohm falling. Once that happened, there was no stopping it. Remember, just 6 months ago or so we were hearing that Woodson was one of the best 5 QB's in the country. How'd that work out for him today?

Yeah, Mario got picked up by the Bengals. The seventh-to-last pick in the draft.

That gives the Cards five draft picks this year.

Brian Brohm - 2nd round, 25(56) Green Bay Packers
Harry Douglas - 3rd round, 21(84) Atlanta Falcons
Gary Barnidge - 5th round, 6(141) Carolina Panthers
Breno Giacomini - 5th round, 15(150) Green Bay Packers
Mario Urrutia - 7th round, 39(246) Cincinnati Bengals

I'm a little surprised Art didn't get picked up. I'm sure he'll get on a team but I thought he might have been good enough to warrant a draft pick.

Here a pretty good one for Breno, and good post by a Card fan.

Good, that will hopefully put his attitude in check.

The newspaper here was talking mostly about the WR they picked first, Brohm was an afterthought to the article.

Myles FA - Jacksonville
Scott Kuhn FA - Ravens

no word on Carmody yet, did anyone else see he got picked up?
