Here's an interesting nugget of information I just found out. Apparently, Jeff Tedford-coached quarterbacks do very poorly in the NFL. They get there, but they aren't very good at that level. Past QB's tutored by Tedford include Trent Dilfer, Kyle Boller, Joey Harrington, and Akili Smith. And Aaron Rodgers.

Dilfer wasn't that bad, he put up decent numbers on a mediocre Tampa Bay team, he won a SB with a great defense in Baltimore.

Dilfer threw for 20,000-yards and 113 TD's, he threw more INTS than TD's but he was sacked 263 times in his career, more than his TD's and INT's combined......tells me he was probably hurried or on the run a lot so maybe he didnt play with the most protective o-linie during his career.

Rodgers is an unknown but did play good against Dallas last year but by the time he got in the game they were down a couple TD's already, he did lead the Pack to a couple TD drives.

Dilfer was such a bad quarterback to my recollection. I was a big Bucs fan back then and he killed that team repeatedly. It was only when they got a very mediocre Brad Johnson that they could get the ring. I was amazed that Baltimore let him run their offense, and downright stupefied when he rode the Ravens to a Super Bowl ring.

Just picked up my Packers Brohm jersey today while I was in Madison doing some things. The people at the store were surprised when I asked for it. "We didn't think we'd be selling any of these" was what one employee said. I told them I moved to Wisconsin from the Louisville area so they of course wanted my scouting report. I gave them the truth, strong qb, not gonna outrun anyone, has taken a few injuries over the years. Then one guy chimes in with "I hear he's inconsistent". I asked him how many Louisville games he's seen and of course he had seen none, just what he had heard.

I had to laugh when someone called Brohm inconsistent having never seen anything of him before.

Inconsistency is definitely NOT one of the things associated with BB..lol.

They should be happy with the steal of a deal that they got with Brohm. He will be a factor soon as they give him a chance, IMO.

Brian will get his chance, it's not like they have a ton of dough sunk in Ryan, he is not a franchise player. The best QB will eventually win the starting job.

Does anyone have details on Brohm's contract? Not really any of my business...just intertested.
