Default Parcells the GENIUS?

I dont get it, he says he doesnt want to trade Jason Taylor but he does try to trade him to both Washington ,and Jacksonville, even heard a rumor Tampa Bay was in the mix,

Then he picks 2 DE's in the draft and Miami needs to fill other holes at DT, CB, Safety, also WR and offensive guard.

Why is he wasting picks on a DE when he has a 33-year old player at the top of his game?

He's a genius, didn't you know!!!???

I think the guy is way overrated. Now, I won't piss on his Super Bowls, he's a pretty good coach, but the general thinking is that the guy can do no wrong. We see how well it went for Jimmie J down in Miami, I'll bet Parcells leaves before that reconstruction is done too.

Parcells kind of strikes me like a Larry Brown: pretty good coach, but their real talent is knowing when to enter and exit certain situations. Something good happens....move on, something good happens....move on. After a while you've got a legendary reputation that helps make you even more successful.

He seems to be accomplishing his 1st objective....making the Dolphins younger.

At 1-15 last year they were bound to improve, no where to go but up....... but I guess we'll see how MUCH they improve under the genius.

Also their secondary was crap last year and after 2-days of the draft the selected no secondary players.

Go figure !!!

He is doing the exact same thing he did in Dallas. He loves the DE's and he also likes the big LB's he will get rid of small LB's that are quick.

I am not sure how great of a coach he is due to his terrible personality but the man knows how to build football teams.

Miami is Dallas south now, coaching staff and about a dozen former Cowboys...sheesh

I dont like the way they are handling Jason Taylor either.

"Most successful programs out there" ???

Dallas last playoff win 1996
Miami last playoff win 2000

Where exactly is Dallas's success?

I would consider New Endland more successful than Dallas.
