Hey Shirley, I agree we floundered on offense at times, but it was our horrorific defense that lost the games giving up big play after big play.

Agreed, but I think what CFIP was getting at is that even as bad as the D was in most games, the offense kept up (or down) as much as the opponent for all but the USF game. I look back at the losses to UConn, the loss to Syracuse, and the loss to West Virginia and think that if we could have just made a couple more plays down the stretch (or any at ALL early in the Syracuse game), we would have been at least bowling last year.

The assistant coaches on both sides of the ball were an absolute nightmare last year. I am cautiously optimistic about the guys who will be calling the shots - offensive and defensive - this season.
