This kid from Nevada faked his own recruitment and held a press conference at his school where he said his numerous conversations with Cal coach Jeff Tedford persuaded him to choose Cal over Oregon.

wow. as someone who works with kids every day, i don't find that funny. i find it downright sad. what kind of self esteem issues does a person have to have to make something like that up, knowing the truth is going to come out in the end?

I just saw on ESPN that Portland State gave that kid a scholarship offer.
