As I said before, he has been given alot of opportunities and he's acted on them. You do know your boy Jerry Jones was a main player in him going to Arkansas right?

At the risk of bringing up a sore subject, that is precisely why I wouldn't want him coaching the Cards again. The word is out on the guy. When he was here, we had our doubts about what kind of person he was, but now it's been proven and 1. he's not the kind of guy I'd want representing my school in living rooms or on national tv, and 2. he's probably going to have it a lot tougher this time around because of his rep and articles like this.

That was funny

Quote:
"I was a young coach and I made a mistake."

"You weren't that young. You were 42."

"I meant young, compared to Joe Paterno."

Yeah right what did Jerry Jones have to do with it? Give me proof. My guess is that he had plenty to deal with at that time with the Cowboys.

I think Jerry Jones is an alumni of Arkansas and talked petrino into coming there

Yep, Jones is an Arkansas alum. I'm not going to go looking for articles, but I WITHOUT A DOUBT remember hearing about Jones being in the middle of it when it was all over the news.

Very first sentence of the article named source legitimate media outlet, I'd say that pretty much sums it up.

Quote:
Former Arkansas AD Frank Broyles told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Jerry Jones played a key role in getting Bobby Petrino to become the head Hog.

That was a funny ass article. I would have enjoyed it no matter whom it was written about, but the fact that BP is the butt makes it even more enjoyable. I never had any issues with him going to the Falcons, but I have had it with him.
