Not much difference than Michael Bush coming out. He may go lower than if he had an injury free next year, but he may go higher than if he has a bad injury next year. Take the money and run.

Last year would have been his best shot. Devine took a little of his thunder this season and his continued to battle injury issues. He has an uphill battle with a now-established pattern of bumps and nicks. Better to let a team decide whether he's injury-prone this summer than everyone to find out next fall.

I wonder if this will have any impact on WVU? Slaton wasn't a BIG guy, but he was certainly larger than Devine. I wonder if the mighty mite can handle 15-20 carries a game?

I think he'll be a pretty good in the NFL. He is bigger than Warrick Dunn but just as fast. He is actually a pretty versatile player too if he can stay healthy. I'm glad he's gone for the sake of the Big East (even though we actually did really well against him except his freshman year).

I really do think that if he can avoid injury he can be a running back by committee player. Reminds a bit of Warrick Dunn actually, or maybe Michael Turner, only a little lighter.
