Denny Crum Speculates
I don't know if anybody heard this on the Joe B - Denny show, but I found it very interesting.
When Denny was asked if he had any advice for Pete Carroll regarding taking the Atlanta job over staying at USC he simply said no. He then went on to say that Carroll may be serious about the Atlanta position because there was a book coming out that looked like it might drop the hammer on both USC and Carroll. Food for thought. Denny still has a lot of connections on the Left Coast.

Wow, I never thought of that angle as a reason for why Carrol would consider leaving.
very plausible indeed. The Bush incident seems to have lost steam but I imagine if you dig deep enough into any program you can find violations.
