Default Blayne Donnell in trouble

RB Blayne Donnell 5'8" Weight: 190 now faces felony charges from a fight in December.

Not good for this player, I would bet he is dealt with soon.

University of Louisville football player faces a felony charge over a fight at a party last month.

Blayne Donnell is charged with second-degree assault.

According to the arrest report, Donnell told officers he hit another man several times.

The walk-on running back and Trinity graduate appeared in one game last season as a red shirt freshman.

I don't honestly think Donnell had much of a future at UofL anyway. There are several better running backs on the roster, and many more to come.

RB and LB's make good special teams players, do you really want Powell or any other starting skill position player running down on kickoff team in 2008?

You need a certain ammount of "role players" to fill in your special teams.

Who knows what Donnell might turn into by his SR year with some hard work, that is if he can ride out this incident and stay on the team.

By the way did anyone notice LSU backup QB #11 running down on kickoff team in the BCS title game and schellack some OSU returner?

I was shocked to see him on special teams considering he's the backup QB but I liked to see it, he wants on the field, gotta love that.
