Whats crazy to me is if you read the comments below the story and read this.

"Defenders of Krapthorpe.....you've checked out his recruiting, right? It looks pretty weak to me...and he lost his QB recruit to Wanny at Pitt. Let me reiterate...he lost his QB recruit to Wanny at Pitt. Enough said about the future of the program."

Thats scary. I heard that kid was a stud.

Sunseri? Was he really any better than Simms? I guess the competition would have been nice, but it's not like Sunseri was guaranteed to get a ton of PT. Simms was pretty close to locked in for 2009, I thought.

I don't know but I do know that several teams were after that kid so who knows.

Is anybody really worried about the RB position anyway. This is one position that we seem to be loaded at.After watching Powell in that last game I am not worried at all. The guy will make us all forget about Allen. Plus we have Brock, Anderson and Martin. Not too worried about this. Lets just hope this is an isolated event.

i agree. i think allen saw what was coming up behind him and saw fewer carries in his future. i'd be more concerned if wood left early, etc.

You betcha. If I was Allen on the sidelines watching Powell go the hell off in that last game, my butt wouldve been puckering a litte bit.

Maybe it has nothing to do with Krag. Couldve just seen the writing on the wall.
