If he went to SMU who was already in the shitter (1-11 in 2007) and got them to 6-6 next year he would look like a genius and a hero, so if he did "entertain a generous offer but he turned it down" to take more crap from the fans who blame him for running the Louisville program into the ground, then I commend him for staying.
He could have "Petrino'ed" us and bolted for the next best offer but he didnt. In this one year he's already shown more loyalty that our previous coach. The suspensions show he put doing things right, risking a loss by taking starters off the field to run the program the right way, over winning at all costs. Hell he could have even suspended Willie Williams and let him back on the team if he wanted too, we all know depth at LB was sorely missed also. The "easy way out" would have been to leave the challenge and critisism behind and look like a hero at a SMU program at the bottom with a .500 season. I'll be pissed too if he have anothe 6-6 season but I have never thought Kragthorpe was the problem.
