On the other hand, its not going to be easy for recruits to ignore the kind of numbers his offenses put up at Louisville. If you are a stud QB, you arent dismissing Petrino. He may not ever win a title, thats hard in the SEC period, but I think he will do just fine. I'm gonna be laughing at some of you all if he stays ten years and ends up winning a title and going to a few bcs bowl games. But naaaaahhhh, you still wouldnt want him back. lol@you

He's a top coach. No doubt. But he's not winning many admirers. He better hope he's that good..

Amen. Any parent of a current 16,17, or 18 year old kid who has turned on a TV, read a paper, or seen the internet in the last 48 hours is going to take a "Over my dead body" stance when their sons start looking at the Hogs.

Imagine the in-home visits...AWKWARD!!

Not if the parents are trying to cash in on their kids, they won't turn him down. Petrino will put players in the NFL.

Some of you all are seriously forgetting that the general public has a notoriously short attention span. This isnt going to turn out to be as big as some of you all make it out to be. It isnt now but we know how the media and some of you all like to run away with shit. It's all cannon fodder. He's the big story this week and will be back page news next week. Hell its already old news. You can thank the Mitchell report for that.

As much as he lacks integrity, he is a proven college football coach. Those who are saying is going to fail are projecting their own wishes on him.

I agree that attention spans are short, but his counterparts in the SEC WILL bring those old articles into the homes of recruits if they are going head to head with Bobby for a kid. The general populice probably will forget, but Petrino's SEC coaching brethren won't.

That's all I'm saying.

I agree he's a great OC and QB coach but as a head coach he slams the program in disarray when he bolts.

When the head coach leaves that shakes up the whole staff whereas if on coach leaves he can be replaced easier.

I think your wrong about everyone forgetting about this, if he doesnt stay at least 4-years at Arkansas AND win, I think other colleges will remember his pattern of leaving and think twice about handing over their program to him.

Skip Bayless said on ESPN's 1st and Ten, It's as if Petrino stays one step ahead of being exposed.
I guess we shall see.

To recruit against him, send DVD's of the press conferences he's held from the last 4 years. Treat recruiting against him just like it was a trial. Keep throwing out the evidence that shows him as a person not to be trusted.

I still don't see how a person can act with such disregard for EVERYONE around him. Again, he has to be sick. Freddy

Again, Amen. Saban, Miles, and Spurrier printed and laminated the cover of ESPN.com Wednesday morning.

If I was projecting my wishes on him...I would have been discussing lightning strikes and/or hope that someone teaches him the definition of LOYALTY.

I doubt Saban and Spurrier are really going to play the loyalty card.
