Default Brohm senior bowl

Is there any word on whether or not Brohm is going to play in the senior bowl this year? I for one would like him to play in it as well as Douglass. That way they can showcase their talents one more time in a game before the draft.

He came back and showcased them for a whole season when he could have bolted after 2006.

If he does play I dont think he could help himself anymore but he could hurt by risking an injury.

The draft does silly things, they over analyze guys so much it's mind boggling.

I agree with Bling.....Brohm is what he is. There is nothing for him to prove. He played 4 years of college football and anything to be learned about him has been learned.

I'd be surprised if he played in the Senior Bowl. Freddy

According to the Senior Bowl website, the roster won't be published until Jan 20.

Brohm has officially said that he is NOT playing in the Senior Bowl, FWIW.

Scouts in Mobile for the Senior Bowl expressed their displeasure at Brohm's decision and feel it will do nothing to help his draft stock.
So what, Brohm doesnt need to play in an all-star game to improve his draft stock.

Why play a couple series and throw a TD or two, what will that tell the scouts they dont already know.

What would the scouts do if some big lineman rolls into his knee and he has to sit out the entire 2008 season?

Still rate him number one and support him financially until his rehab is over.....or more likely forget about him until 2009 then say he's not the player he was after his 2008 senior bowl injury?

The risk is not worth the "potential" not guaranteed reward of moving up a spot or two.

That's interesting... I read on LSR that he AND Douglas were both playing.

I've been hounding Deck the Walls about Brohm's signing event. They are saying next month now.

It says that "his 12 interceptions were quite disappointing" but werent most of those tipped balls that (insert name) as a receiver should have caught? I guess the way they look at it is a INT is a INT either way..

Peyton Manning has thrown quite a few INT in his day, but I dont consider that a knock on his ability or skill..
