I would have loved to see WVU play for a national championship.

Their fans may be a-holes, I havent formed that opinion of them though, (I dont actually know any WVU fans) but it sure would have helped the Big East if every year were in the hunt for a NC.

Last year Louisville was a loss away from possible playing in the NC title game.

This year WVU was a loss away.

I know a few WV fans..theyre not all that bad.

Think about it though...this is all they have in their state...other than an occasional decent basketball team. Cant blame em for their passion.

All you have to do is remember how we felt last year. We had 2 games to go still. They only had one, against a scrub team and they were in. Corso with his 5 touchdown win prediction jinxed them. I know some of their fans still can't sleep. I was sick for a few days after we lost. Man, what a way to go down. I feel for their fans. Especially this guy:



That was him after their loss here about 30 minutes after the game. He just sat there in disbelief. Imagine what the loss to Pitt did to him, if he hasn't jumped off a bridge already.

They also have some good whitewater rafting.
