Dish vs Direct

I got Direct with the NFL Sunday ticket and it is the best. They do have locals in HD as well.

If you sign up right now it is a great deal they will give you the Sunday Ticket for free and you get their premium package for a good deal for four months.

I had dish and when I did it seemed to get inturrepted by the rain much more then my Direct TV did.

I was thinking just the opposite, honestly I don't think it makes much difference. I have a Canadian dish also and it goes down when the US does.

While cable doesn't go down with weather, when it does go down it can be down for hours or even days. The sats are only down for minutes.

Over the years I thought it was the wind that knocks them out for a short time but I learned that its how dense the the could cover is during a heavy storm.

I think I'm leaning more toward Direct now. Even though they are pretty similar in ways, Direct, just seems the way to go!

You can bargain with them, no matter what deal they want to cut you, ask for more. After you have been with them for a couple of years give them a call and tell them what Dish is offering you to sign up, you'll be surprised what they offer you.

I have Dish Network and love it. And it definitely has local channels. I'm not sure if Direct has this or not but there's an interactive channel you can go to for news updates, sports scores, games, etc. You can also view 6 channels at once on this channel.
