My wife has a serious question
I just finished watching our women's beach volleyball win the Gold, they were teriffic.
My wife wants to know, if the girls wear bikinis to play then why don't the guys wear speedos?

i think the dudes wear board shorts.. the gals do wear some pretty skimpy stuff though..
some reason I think that the number of viewers would decline if the men wore thong speedos..Id probably barf..

In the interest of answering the question, I just saw on one of the sports sites today that the women have to wear a one piece or two piece swimsuit. Given the heat, most choose the two piece option. The men have to wear swim trunks and tank tops.
All that being said, I liked Freddy's reply better.
