Proposal to Change Draft Time & Possible Get-Together
Hey all, Ron approached me today about the draft time for the league. He let me know that he doesn't get off work until 8 and was hoping we could push it back a little bit so he could participate.
Ron also was interested in getting together somewhere that has internet access and drafting and hanging out. You'd have to have a laptop, of course, but it was a suggestion. Thoughts? We still only have 5 owners, so get in here!

Get together drafts are great. That's what we do in my money league but we don't use pc's for the draft. We basically feel out a chart of who we draft. Then the league commissioner does the pc work when he gets home or who's ever house we are at. The hard thing is getting everyone to show up.
It would take a lot more time but it can be great fun.

Well, I think the potential problem with doing a live draft is having folks who don't even live in Louisville playing. Harv said he would play if we couldn't get enough guys or were at an odd number. He lives in North Carolina (I think).
Maybe if everyone playing ends up from Louisville, we could do a live draft.

I am not sure what day you all are talking about getting together but being the single Dad that I am it really hurts my avaliablility. I could do a live in person draft but only on a Monday, Tuesday, or Sunday.

I don't live in Louisville and really am stretched for time... When you work 60 and 70 hr weeks time is a very important part of life... And not that I wouldn't enjoy doing something like this just not enough time. SRRY!
People need to go sign up or we aren't even going to have enough play... Seems like everyone waits until the last minute..
