Well, now seems like as good a time as any. I'd like to do another live draft, so as commish I will be taking invite PM's and looking to create a 12-man league. I'm sticking to Yahoo unless someone speaks up NOW and will discuss live draft schedules as soon as we have our 12-team league.

I would plan on doing the draft 3-4 weeks from now since games start the first Thursday in September.

Man I suggest Foxsports.com. It is also free and it gives you up to date scores automatically without having to pay extra. It is every bit as good as yahoo and as easy and completely free.

I'm making live draft this year. NO QUESTION. Are we experimenting with maybe each player franchising a player, rolling over one player from last years team? I think that would give us some continuity from season to season.

Any thoughts?

Live draft worked well last year and it didn't take as long as I thought it would.

I'd like to, but it seems like we have so many new faces from year to year that it would be hard to convince someone to take over a shitty team whose best player is someone like Willis McGahee.

Personally I agree with EL as far as the hold over players are concerned. For example I was in every year until last year because I was never allowed in for whatever reason and I wouldn't want to have to come in and run with someones crappy team.

I will go with whatever you all go with though but I do reccomend a site that doesn't require you to pay extra for live scoring. I think that in a free league it is crap to have to pay just to see your scores or have to wait until Monday to see where you stand. I recommend Foxsports.com but there are a lot of others out there that are completely free.
