Default Friday Morning QB

Our defensive success (using the term loosely) last night came from 2 things.

1) WVU turnovers. [which our defensive pressure caused...is that better WKU? ;-) ]
2) We slowed WVU down by putting 5-6 guys in the box, clogging the lanes, and limiting Slaton/White to 3-4 yards gains instead of the big breaks they are known for. This forced them into some uncomfortable 2nd and longs and 3rd and longs...which then caused them to throw the ball unsuccessfully.

So using the combination of the above, we fight back and tie the score at 31, and everyone and their mother knows it is going to be the Pat White show...so what do we do? We drop into our BS prevent defense, putting 4 in the box to hope to "contain" White, which then allows White to scamper around, find a couple open receivers, and then run through us like a hot knife through butter.

My question for Cassity and Krags is if the aggressive defensive formations & calls had been working, why did we change? If it ain't broke...don't fix it.

Am I crazy...did anyone else see this??
