I really doubt the BCS Bowl Committees would pass up an at large SEC bid for an AT LARGE UofL. I love my Cards but really - who would make a respective Bowl more money?

Continuing that line of thought I can't see why the Rose Bowl wouldn't take a Michigan - ND rematch based on fanbase and rivalry alone. I think that would bring more revenue than a Michigan - SEC matchup.

I'm putting my money on a Big East Champ UofL to play SEC Champ in the Sugar Bowl. Who in their right mind would think the best possible ratings (and reputation) scenario would be for the SEC Champ to play against an SEC team that didn't make it to the SEC Championship game themselves? Oh the ridiculous combinations an SEC-SEC Sugar Bowl could bring:

1. Florida beating an Arkansas to face LSU in the BCS ... the same LSU that lost to Arkansas.

2. Arkansas beating Florida to face LSU in the BCS ... if LSU wins then who really should be the SEC Champ?

Bottom line IMO - BE gets the Sugar Bowl and we'll see SEC teams in the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl.

Go Mountaineers!
