If OSU, Michigan or Tennessee had a down year do you think they would be worried about selling seats in their stadiums?
They have the support of alumni and football crazy fans....problem is in Louisville our fans support the teams better only when their winning.
So I'm sure with a down year seats would be empty in Louisville.

That's not true. Louisville fans wouldn't stop going to the game any more than UT or other programs fans would. Look at the USF game... coming off a huge disappointment the prior week.. a deflating loss, I felt like UL fans would show up witih a bit of a cold shoulder.. but they didn't.. the stadium was packed BEFORE kick off and it was just as loud as usual.

Well, in basketball, I know we still had large crowds in the bad years. In football, the attendance has improved dramatically in the past few years. I thought the crowd was OK the other night. People left early, but UL was up pretty good and it was damn cold. Though, I want to add, for the record.....I left when the game was over. Freddy
