i totally agree that selling more tix @ face value rather than catering to b& w, etc. is the way to go...i just think it's worth noting that treating the game as a party rather than being there for the football game is universal, not by any stretch of the imagination limited to one demographic. it's just louisville fans. period. they've been doing it for years for basketball and football both.

large numbers are there to tailgate, and in my section it seems, come in, drink a few more beers, yell some ridiculous, profanity laden 'insults' at the refs, sec, bcs, opposing fans, etc. make about 35 trips to the beer line/restrooms, and, if the cards are up 10+ points, get back out to the parking lot for more drinks, etc. during the 4th quarter when beer sales are cut off.
