Wow, all this "woe, dispair, and agony on me" talk is really on the extreme side. I don't see our program being in the tank for decades or even 8 years. From the inside source that I heard from, it's just a case of chemistry. I can relate to this big time. In any organization where morale can affect to the output of the team, chemistry is a weapon of power or destruction. A lot of guys left over from the Pitrino era have not warmed up to Krag. What you see on the field is a product of that. At the same time, the defense has obviously swallowed the pill and are sold on the new defensive coordinator.

I will say that given a few years, Krag will have control of this team and all of his building blocks will be in place. Think about it: why were guys trying to jump ship and get out of town so fast after Pitrino left? I can tell you why, because they didn't care for K or the staff he brought in. Hell, there was turmoil within the staff from Pitrino's leftovers and the new guys. Guys who were good enough to be Orange Bowl champions don't get bad or forget how to play the game in a years time. What you saw on the field were a bunch of guys who didn't give a damn, minus Harry and Brohm and a few others.

I'll suffer through this and wait for the results. I'm willing to give K five years and we're in year two. I'll wait and see what happens.
