I am bitter I must admit....my reason:
My senior year (1998) at Trinity we ended up playing St. X in the state soccer sectionals - to see who would go onto the semi-finals. St. X had earned home field advantage so we had to play at St. X. Problem was, they didn't have lights on their field, and it was late Fall - dark at 7pm. So St.X petitions (and is granted approval) to move the game to 3:00 pm. So we have to leave school early, show up at St. X, drive by their million dollar pool facility, and play the game in front of all 1,200 students who got out of school at 2:45pm. Why? Because they wouldnt spend the money to put lights up...
Ever since I have had zero respect for X and its facilities. Backasswards if you ask me.
