Really?
A bad coach can turn a good team into shit in one year?
I doubt a talented group of players suddenly forget how to play football in 3 months. Krag didnt change the offense and kept the terminology the same.
Even Ron Cooper took more than a couple seasons to turn Schnellenberger's UL squad into losers.
I am just not of the opinion that Petrino left Kragthorpe the keys to a shiny sports car.
Where was Mario Urrutia?
Mario looked nothing like the player he was in 2006, where were Spillman & Strippling, oh suspended.
Where were our LB's......Myles was the only one who played worth a shit and he was making tackles 5-yards past the line of scrimmage.
Utah's 3rd string RB rushed for a career high 180-something yards on Louisville.....maybe Kragthorpe should have put on a helmet and shoulder pads and made 20 tackles that game for the UL defense.
Maybe a coaching change changed the chemistry of the coaching staff but suddenly our DB's couldnt figure out where on the field they were supposed to line up or who to cover. the defensive coord didnt change so I cant blame chemistry of the coaches on that.
Syracuse was one of the worst offenses in the NATION and they were continually open deep and passes for 300-yards on the Cards.
Kragthorpe cant line up for the players, they have to make plays and last year they didnt,
