I agree. I think our new coaches will make us wonder how the old ones were drawing paychecks. I just hope they stick around for a while because I think both English and Brohm are big-time HC material.

Looking at the schedule, there's really no excuse for not winning the first six games if we still have the program we should, only two years removed from the Orange Bowl.

KENTUCKY(a rebuilding year for the Cats after their magical musical bowl season, plus at home with payback)
TENNESSEE TECH(Cards better win)
KANSAS STATE(a little better than UK but this will be built up as a big game for our guys)
UCONN(maybe the best team so far but this time, it's personal)
at Memphis(not too concerned but could be a tough game, first road game of the year should have the boys focused)
MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE(Cards better win)
USF(where the schedule gets tough, but home field is huge in this series, the Bulls should be better than last year though, IMO)
at Syracuse(payback against a bad team)
at Pitt(coin flip, these last games depend a lot on how the season has been going up to this point)
CINCINNATI(coin flip)
WEST VIRGINIA(coin flip)
at Rutgers(probably the toughest game on the schedule, IMO)

I can't see us being outclassed by anyone this year, just like we weren't last year. We've got the talent and the schedule to make some noise, the real question is will the new coordinators up the level of focus, teamwork, and tactical execution? I think they will.
