Yes LSU lost twice but both were in triple overtime.

Not like a WVU losing 16-9 to a suck ass Pittsburgh knocking them from the championship game in the last week of the regular season.

I believe LSU is still a championship caliber team and correctly chosen for the BCS title game.

Ohio State is 33-3 the last 3 seasons and has played in the BCS game 3 of the last 6 seasons, they are a championship caliber team but USC could have also been in the title game and competitive.

LSU would have destroyed Kansas, WVU, VT maybe Georgia would have been the only team that could have put up a fight.

The loss to UK was a fluke and it took a triple OT game to the wire for a loss. Arkansas was a stronger team than UK in my opinion and that too also took a 3 OT game for a loss.

So my question is, if LSU shouldnt have been in the BCS title game who should have been?

Nobody WORTHY finished the season with a better record than 12-2.

Hawaii & Kansas both 12-1 would get massacared by LSU.
